The top leadership of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana led by Rt Rev. Prof. J.O.Y Mante, Moderator met Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in a jolly happy private visit in commemoration Christmas.
The visit comes days after Dr. Bawumia together with his wife Samira and other notable New Patriotic Party officials attended Christmas church service at the Victory Bible Church International Awoshie-Accra to thank God for President Akufo-Addo’s victory at the polls.
At the Thanksgiving, he indicated that as Ghanaians, we all have every good reason to be thankful to God for how far He has brought us and urged all citizens to use the festive period to reaffirm their faith, hope and belief in God and also help build a prosperous and peaceful Ghana.
It will be recalled that in 2017, the Vice President marked Christmas by visiting the Royal House Chapel, Kaneshie and the Nantoma Presbyterian church, Kanda where he sponsored festivities with them.
Dr. Bawumia enjoys a highly warm relationship with the leadership of the clergy across all denominations in Ghana.
