Kwabena Ampofo Appiah, Managing Director of State Housing Company has inspected ongoing works at the John Agyekum Kufour Estate at Oyoko Akrofuom near Kumasi.

The MD expressed satisfaction at the progress of Works as most of the houses were at appreciable levels of completion.
“Indeed we are ahead of schedule and most of the houses have been sold even before completion. The contractors have really done well”, he told www.myabclive.com.
It would be recalled that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2018, cut sod for the construction of 225 housing units at Oyoko Akrofuom in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region.

The 225 housing units form part of the J.A. Kufuor Estate being constructed in honour of former President John Agyekum Kufuor for his initiative in addressing the housing deficit in the country during his administration.

The project is one of those the Vice President, Dr. Mahammudu Bawumia highlighted during the recent town hall meeting on the infrastructural achievements of the Akufo-Addo administration.
