Independent Candidate Vows to Rebuild Akufo-Addo’s Vandalized Statue

Independent parliamentary hopeful, Prophet Elijah Joshua, has pledged to restore the statue of former President Akufo-Addo, which was recently damaged by unidentified individuals in Takoradi. The statue, a tribute to Akufo-Addo’s leadership, was defaced in an incident that has sparked widespread outrage.

Prophet Joshua, who is also the founder of Glory and Dominion Ministry, stated that he received a spiritual revelation warning of the potential negative consequences of such acts. He believes the vandalism could have serious repercussions for both the Sekondi/Takoradi area and the broader Western Region.

Speaking in an interview, Prophet Joshua condemned the vandals for their disrespectful and divisive actions. He called on the government to issue a firm warning against similar behavior, warning that inaction could lead to even greater problems in the future.

He also cautioned that anyone who attempts to damage the new statue he intends to erect would bring a curse upon themselves.
