Article: Kissi Agyebeng Has Made The Office Of The Special Prosecutor Useless

Many were those who came to the realization that the Office of the Special Prosecutor had become less useful to the nation some months after Kissi Agyebeng was appointed.

Some held the view that if given time, Kissi could prove his critics wrong. However, having observed the work of Kissi Agyebeng over the past few years, one cannot help but to join the chorus that he has contributed immensely to the uselessness of that office.

If we ask which cases he has successfully prosecuted upon the assumption of office, his assigns and acolytes would struggle to provide them.

We cannot point to a single case Kissi Agyebeng has prosecuted successfully. As if that’s not enough, this overhyped lawyer proffers wrong charges against people he sends to court.

He makes wayward arguments, defends and prosecutes his cases like an amateur and when he fails to secure convictions against accused persons, he comes into the media space, chastises judges and tramples upon their opinions.

He organizes press conferences upon press conferences, disturbs our ears with cases his office has been handling amidst singing Lumba’s ‘Ankwanoma’ banger.

He describes suspects as wanted and label others as fugitives when no charges have been brought against them.

In effect, the OSP, thanks to Kissi Agyebeng, has become a wasteful entity as we cannot point to even 20% results out of the millions of monies at his disposal.

Kissi Agyebeng is wasting taxpayers’ money on frivolous cases. He has developed the penchant for defaming people who have not been pronounced guilty by any court of competent jurisdiction.

He is just like this lawyer in Ahafo who is said to have won only two cases in court for the many years he has been practicing.

They say he has been successful in one akokɔ case and an apɔnkye matter. That’s Kissi Agyebeng for you as the Special Prosecutor. Such a populist wasting our monies on useless trips abroad.
