Afriyie-Ankrah Affirms Mahama’s Evil Plans Towards Ghanaians In 2024

The axiom, ‘fools rush in where angels fear to tread’ seems to be a part and parcel of some of the leaders of the opposition National Democratic Congress.

Over the past few weeks, it has been one war chant after the other from a group of people who seem to believe that violence, not ballots, is the surest way to secure them political power.

John Mahama kickstarted these reckless calls for violence to be the mainstay of the party if it really wants to win power come 2024. Ghanaians have been, consequently, livid over his ‘2024 elections will be a do or die affair’.

Instead of apologizing for such an inflammatory comment, we were insulted further by Mahama saying we are all challenged when it comes to English comprehension and that his statement is an idiomatic expression, and, therefore, he wouldn’t apologize for same.

Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, a General Secretary hopeful of the NDC has waded into the matter with a version that seems to solidify Mr. Mahama’s devilish plans of causing mayhem in 2024 unless he is declared the winner after the polls.

“Going forward, we have learnt lessons and maybe we have to give bulletproof vests and guns to our people to defend themselves at the collation centres. Nobody is going allow what happened in Tachiman South to happen again”, he revealed in an interview MyNewsGh.com monitored on Kumasi-based Orange Fm.

To the politically naive, Afriyie-Ankrah’s position does not constitute any criminal intent, but to those who have known the ‘revolutionary roots’ of the NDC, such a position is not only inimical to the democratic culture we have built over the years but also portends gloom, doom and darkness for the country.

A farmer goes to the farm with his cutlass. A student goes to school with his books and pens. Whoever goes to a place with bulletproof vests and guns is ready for war.

We cannot just sweep this under the carpet as an empty threat. These characters are prepared to wage a war against the state at all cost.

What cannot be ignored is the fact that to John Mahama and his henchmen, power is blood and they are prepared to kill just to get the power they so much crave for. Mahama is a nation wrecker.
